University of Texas Study seeking Patients who have Experienced Pretrigeminal 

Researchers have found that about 17% of individuals with trigeminal neuralgia first experienced a condition know as pretrigeminal neuralgia. Pretrigeminal neuralgia may cause pains similar to pains caused by dental problems.  For additional information on this study, including how to participate, clickhere.

TNA Funds Research Project

TNA – The Facial Pain Association, through its Facial Pain Research Institute, has initiated a research study into the causes of damage to the trigeminal nerve and how to halt or minimize the resulting pain. Research will be conducted through a partnership with a leading medical research team in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Florida’s McKnight Brain Institute in Gainesville, FL.
